Chances don't always come around twice in a lifetime...
So when the beautiful young stallion was writhing in agony under the weight of a huge gum tree, Sam didn't think twice about setting to his rescue. Sam being in his early thirties already divorced and battling a massive custody case in court over his and Michelle's two pure Spanish Paint horses, of which they had been given as a mating pair on their wedding day; found new hope with the challenge to free this young stallion. Fear filled and anger in his heart, Sam could see the fading light in his eyes as he strove to move the huge tree trunk. It was no good.. he had to get some help and before running back to his 4wd he lent down and gave the horse a drink from his canister. The horse looked at him deep into his eyes. Sam could see the pain the fear and the desperation in the young horse, and knew only too well what this felt like. With a gentle stroke of his hand on the horses forehead, he ran as fast as he could to his truck, raced down the dirt road to a nearby ranch, Juno was home.. Together they hurried back to the young stallion, he needed a chance to survive.
